Carolina Fuentes: Carolina is the Senior Prevention Advisory Specialist at Love146. She holds a Master in Social Work with a concentration in Community Practice from Baylor University and a Master in Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. She works with youth from diverse backgrounds and enjoys listening to their questions, jokes, and dreams. She journeys with them through conversations about vulnerability and pain, abuse and exploitation, hope and empathy. Carolina co-authored the Not a #Number curriculum and travels throughout Texas and beyond providing trainings and presentations for professionals who work with youth. She joined the prevention team at Love146 after working with Refugee populations and individuals experiencing homelessness and addictions.
Carolina is a proud Colombian, a good cook, an INFJ, a lover of silent retreats. She is passionate about social and environmental justice and enjoys being a long life learner. She feels moved and full of hope when people use their gifts and join together in a mission of love, reconciliation and restoration. She loves dancing and singing with her husband and daughter.
